WHAT IF THERE WERE A CALL FOR HELP AND NOBODY CAME???

Lucky for you, in North Brunswick you don't have to worry about that. We are there 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to help you. Last year alone we answered approximately 600 fire calls for HELP from residents like you. And now it is our turn to ask for HELP from you.

You may not know this, but we are a 100% volunteer organization. You may ask, what does that mean? It means that each of us is a North Brunswick township resident just like you, some of us with families, careers, other obligations, but all of us willing to give our time, without pay, to you, the citizens of our town.

In North Brunswick, you are not burdened with paying a fire tax for our services, as you would be in all of the surrounding towns. We rely solely on donations and extra fund-raisers to operate our "business" ... that means anything from the old "cat in a tree" to raging fires.

If we were to convert to a Fire District and a Fire Tax assessment, it could range from $200 - $400 annually.

Your donations help us purchase fire gear, equipment and fire engines, and train our firefighters. We are also responsible for maintaining and servicing our own equipment, so that we may provide to you, the citizens of North Brunswick, the best possible fire protection.
